When I started working, I was just like most young South Africans: working long hours, earning a decent income… and completely unsure where to start with investing.
TFSAs, RAs, offshore accounts, fees, tax, rand volatility...
Every decision felt risky and overwhelming. So I did what many people do: I procrastinated, googled endlessly, and hoped clarity would eventually arrive. It didn’t.
Everything changed when I finally committed to learning how investing really works. The principles, the mistakes to avoid,
and the simple systems that ordinary people can use to build wealth over time.
Once I applied those fundamentals, my entire financial life shifted. And I realised something important: the problem for most South Africans isn’t intelligence or income… it’s the lack of a clear, honest, SA-specific framework to follow.
